Erica Gregory - The Blog!

If you've been following my blogging journey, you know that I've gone through some changes over the past six years. It all started when I was laid off from the crappiest job in the world, moved back home to live with my parents and wallow in my misery. Back then, the site was called Life As I Know it, and it was a lot of angsty writing about my life at the time.

Over time it changed into Entirely Erica, then Simple & Inspired, the content shifting from random outfits, to great sales, to rants about life, to motherhood and bumpdates and all that comes with having kids.

In the last year I've been spending my time building my marketing agency, Scout Creative, always with the goal of going back to blogging and really taking it seriously. However, I never knew what I wanted to blog about, and I was really tired of making it up as I go along.

So I decided to take a break and think about this site from a marketing perspective. If a client came to me and asked me how to build this blog, what would I suggest? After some thinking and lots of org charts, I've come up with what you're reading today - Erica Gregory, the blog.

Here's the story - Scout Creative Agency is a digital marketing agency in which I consult with businesses on the best marketing efforts for them. However, my goals for my business moving forward is to become a resource for people - mainly moms who work from home and own their own business, or moms who want to transition out of the 9 to 5 life - and teach and inspire them to do so.

I also have other projects I'm actively working on and would love to build a community here that will also follow along with those things as they come to fruition.
