life lately june 13 A little insight into our life lately:

Finn

We are anxiously awaiting Finn's first steps. I don't know what is holding him up! He has been moving and shaking for months now, but he is just unwilling to take a step without holding onto us/a table/his walker/etc. He could totally do it! I think he just needs a little confidence.Other than the walking dilemma, Finn seems to grow overnight. He is so fun, so smart, and has the best personality.

David

David has been traveling quite a bit for work. Last week he was in Raleigh for a few nights and today he is up in DC. He absolutely loves his job and I'm so happy he has found his groove. He's also been working out obsessively, which has really inspired me to get my butt in gear as well. He's looking good ;)In other news, David and I have been house hunting! We've been pre-approved and are actually in the process of looking for our home. It's so exciting, yet so nerve-wrecking at the same time! What a huge decision we have to make. I feel blessed to be in this part of our life, finally.I'm putting together a blog post that does a deep dive into what we are looking for and maybe even some inspiration. If you don't follow me on Pinterest, you should check it out. I've been pinning home decor like a crazy person. (I also want to do a post on the entire home buying process once we are through the entire thing! I know there are so many details that I'm learning and I know it would be helpful to others! Thoughts?)

Work

Last week I had to travel to Pittsburgh for work. It was a quick overnight trip, but it was nice to have a night in a hotel room to myself. Our fiscal year ends on June 30th, so things have been crazy trying to finish things up in the last few weeks. My friend and co-worker, Morgan, took a new job at the university, so as much as I'm happy for her, I'm so sad to be losing my cube mate. I haven't known my job without her!

Blog/Biz

I'm working behind the scenes on putting together an editorial calendar that helps keep my posts coming on a regular basis. I'm thinking of doing more posts like this, and the five things posts as well. I want to do at least one outfit post a week, and a motherhood post as well. Anything else you'd like to see from me? I'm all ears!I'm also excited to be attending an entrepreneurs brunch next week.
