What To Wear to Thanksgiving Dinner
barbour jacket // mock neck sweater // pants size down one size // belt // tory burch pumps, sold out, similar here, here and here
Less than a week from Thanksgiving?! What. Is. Happening?! Time is traveling a million miles a minute and I can't seem to slow it down. I wore this look to work this week, but thought it would be the perfect Thanksgiving dinner outfit, too. I love the color of these pants. In fact I'm really into all wine/burgandy things this season. Especially if they are velvet! But I digress. These pants are so soft and comfortable, too. I would size down since Loft pants tend to run a little big. Also, if you don't have a Barbour coat, I couldn't recommend the International style more. It's a little edgy, but unbelievably warm. We don't need very heavy layers in Virginia, so this coat keeps me warm all winter. It can be worn with work outfits, but also with jeans and slip-on sneakers, too. I know everyone has the Beadnell, but I'm an International fan. I wrote a post about some of the sentimental value behind it, too. This year our family is headed up to New York to celebrate with my parents and family. We get to briefly see my sister and her boyfriend, who are flying in for a wedding, which will be so awesome. I'm excited for the holidays this year since Finn is a little older and will actually get a sense of some of the things that are going on. He gets to eat Thanksgiving Dinner this year, which will be the best.We usually get up to Rochester/Caledonia a few times a year, but we haven't been up there since last Christmas! This year has been downright crazy so I'm glad we get to slow down and spend some time in my hometown. I'm sure we will be attempting to do some Black Friday shopping as well, however, we usually end up sleeping in and settling for brunch instead. What are your Thanksgiving plans?
