I'm not even going to pretend that I'm a fashionista. I tend to gravitate towards very simple, classic pieces and I would rather wear jeans and a sweater every single day than even attempt to dress up. I do love simple and easy dresses, though, especially to mix up my work wardrobe. Most of my wardrobe consists of pieces that can be worn both in and outside of the office. I am a pretty practical shopper in that I won't spend money on things that I can't wear more than once. And since I spend the majority of the time at work, I figure I should be buying things that can be dressed up for work, and dressed down for weekends with my family.

This dress is the perfect mix of both those worlds. It's conservative enough to wear to the office, but is also super practical to wear running errands or taking a walk outside. It's also heavier knit material, so it's a great transitional piece from winter to spring.

In other news, I head to Denver tomorrow morning bright and early. I would be lying if I said I haven't gotten emotional thinking about being away from David, Finn, and Juneau for a few days. It's going to be tough, but we will all get through it. And I cannot wait to be with my sisters! I never thought we would all live so far away from each other because we are all so close, but it just makes trips like this one more meaningful.

Do you have any fun weekend plans?
